The introduction of hybrid technology is an important step for Bentley - with a range of hybrid vehicles now available. In the years ahead, Bentley will reveal its first fully electric vehicle, making the shift to an all-electric line-up by 2030. A striking SUV with a sporting edge, the Bentley Bentayga Hybrid delivers all the power you need for your busy life, giving you the perfect balance of luxury, exhilaration, and environmentally responsible, low-emission driving. The 2023 Bentayga Hybrid’s gasoline-electric plug-in hybrid powertrain includes a V-6 engine as well as an electric motor - which together produce 443 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. You'll get from zero to 60 in just 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 mph. An eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels via the Bentayga's standard all-wheel-drive system. Two additional plug-in hybrid options have been added to the Bentayga lineup in the form of the Azure and sporty S. Both trims offer more power and more electric-only driving range than the standard PHEV model - raising the stats to 455 horsepower and 27 miles of range. The Bentayga Hybrid defaults to its EV Drive mode on startup. That means it relies exclusively on the 126-hp electric motor when you turn it on, with an active accelerator pedal that adds a pressure point and haptic feedback to discourage drivers from awakening the 3.0-liter engine. However, the V-6 engine will turn on automatically at speeds higher than 84 mph. The Bentayga Hybrid digital instrument cluster now adopts Performance Design Dials that were inspired by the Bentayga Speed, but there's now a hybrid power meter included in the system. The Bentayga Hybrid Azure focuses on luxury but there's also improved ride comfort and reduced noise and vibration. It also has ‘Azure’ badging, a chrome lower bumper, and 22-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels - as well as a Bentley ‘jewel’ fuel cap. Now you can also choose an extended-wheelbase version that delivers more legroom throughout and more space overall for your rear passengers. The 2023 EWB model features Bentley's new Diamond Illumination ambient lighting system that brings a luxurious glow as it shines through hand-stitched leather panels. So what are you waiting for?
