Picnicking in Style
Bentley recently showcased photos of one of the most luxurious picnics we’ve ever seen featuring the Linley Hamper. The organic British picnic was created by the award-winning farm culinary team, Daylesford Organic. The menu consisted of a carved Daylesford pumpkin filled with green kale, heritage apples, crispy bacon, toasted seeds and a honey mustard dressing as well as many more bespoke items. Executive Chef at Daylesford Organic, Gaven Fuller, stated “Late autumn is a time of great abundance at Daylesford. As the weather grows colder, we look to the earthy, intense flavors of our many varieties of pumpkin, squash and beetroot – each nurtured over the summer months in our rich organic soil. Careful slow-cooking techniques bring out their subtle sweetness and, carefully paired with our tender grass pastured beef, game or foraged wild mushrooms, offer a true celebration of the season.” Plates and cups were provided from the Linley Hamper by Mulliner a set of picnic wares sourced from the Collection of Haviland, the renowned French porcelain maker. The craftspeople from Bentley’s personal commissioning division created the hamper set to bring personality to the experience of driving a Bentley. The hamper set color choices include Camel, Hotspur, Linen, Magnolia, Beluga and New Market. The Linley Hamper is safely secured to the Bentayga using a docking mechanism, and the back of the set extends to create the perfect tailgate. Bentley never ceases to make life a luxury, no matter which road you travel.

Bentley has announced to their customers that they are beginning an innovative trial of a fuel-delivery service called Filld. A mobile app has been created for the driver’s convenience, making sure that he or she never has to search for a gas station to fill up a vehicle ever again. This new service will be one of the many luxuries of driving a Bentley. The app simply works by users choosing a delivery time and fuel preferences. Then, their gasoline will be delivered to the driver’s home or workplace. The brand is already working on future advancements in the app, such as predictive fuel ordering. With this advancement, the car can place an order for itself based on fuel level, location and customer preferences. Bentley’s Director of Product and Marketing, Christophe Georges, said: “Bentley ownership is about more than just the vehicle- it’s the entire luxury experience. We are continuously investigating ways in which to offer our customers tailored, convenient, smart services that afford them the greatest luxury of all: more time. Our Connected Car strategy will continue to expand and innovate in order to further enhance the Bentley lifestyle.” In hopes to remove inconvenience from the customer’s day-to-day life, Bentley will continue to work hard to improve the app and to find ways to make life more luxurious when owning a Bentley.

Bentley Introduces the World’s Fastest Diesel SUV
The Bentley Bentayga Diesel is officially the first diesel Bentley to have ever been created. Furthermore, the vehicle is now taking the title of the world’s fastest diesel SUV. Bentley has accomplished the unthinkable, raising the bar with the technology needed to make this all possible.
Bentley’s engineers have worked diligently to develop every detail of the new diesel Bentley Bentayga. The engine is a new generation, triple-charged 4.0 liter V8 engine. Technology in the vehicle is clean and new, allowing the lowest CO2 emissions in the history of Bentley vehicles—210g/km to be exact. Going further into detail into the brand’s world-record-breaking statistics, the Bentayga reaches a top speed of 168mph and has the ability to go from 0-60mph in just 4.8 seconds. Configuring A Custom Flying Spur
Complete customization is a trademark of Bentley Motors. Visiting the manufacturer’s website, shoppers can work through the various configurations available for each model. We took a moment to experience the process, choosing the Flying Spur V8 S as our base.
First, Bentley Motors offers some excellent pre-designed options from which to choose. Users can, of course, go this route and add a few modifications, or they can start from scratch. We opted for the completely custom option. The online tool allowed us to see a 360-degree rendering of the future car as we designed the various elements and added features.
In the custom-design frame, we began by choosing upgrade packages, like the Convenience Specification (with cruise control, rear-view camera, and valet key), the Entertainment Specification (with rear-seat screens), and the Comfort Specification (with seat ventilation and massage capabilities).
Bentley Motors offers exterior color selections from every shade of the rainbow. For a feminine look, users may choose Grey Violet or Magenta, or for a darker tone, they might like Granite or Black Sapphire. We accented the exterior of our Passion Pink concept car with a single-line pinstripe, custom wheels, and a V8 S badge.
Interior options are just as vast with multiple leather colors and eight veneers.
Designers can add more technology options and comfort capabilities before creating a custom brochure showcasing all selections. This brochure can be taken to a local dealership to place an order.

SUV of the Year: Bentley Bentayga
The Robb Report knows luxury. For the past 40 years, Robb Report has been reviewing, testing, and following high-end travel, real estate, automobiles, planes, and yachts. This year, the editorial staff loved the Bentley Bentayga, and they named it the “SUV of the Year” in their 2016 Best of the Best awards. Of the review process Editor-in-Chief of Robb Report Brett Anderson noted, “Choosing among the most exceptional products, services, designs, and destinations to be found anywhere in the world is certainly no mean task for the editorial staff. The exterior of the vehicle is masculine and crafted of a strong aluminum material. Inside, the Bentayga is exquisite. Elegant wood veneers complement the metal detailing and leather upholstery. Adding to the flawless design is a panoramic roof and a retractable event seat, allowing for tailgating with class in the Bentayga.
Under the hood, it doesn’t disappoint. The Bentayga is about power, and it’s always ready to take on unknown terrains. It boasts a W12 engine with the ability to take you from 0 to 60 in a mere 4 seconds with a top speed of 187mph. Add touch-screen technology, a navigation system, and top-notch audio, and you’ll see that the Bentayga is truly the complete luxury SUV package.
